The name of the Sietch Carthag has been chosen as it reminds to the Fenician city of Carthago, later refounded in the current Cartagena(Cartagonova) located in south east Spain.
As well known from the Dune universe, a Sietch was a Cave warren inhabited by the Fremen, but also can be read in the books as a place where ecologic activities were taken to guarantee the water of the tribe.
The Fremen had a dream, that was changing the climatology of their dusty planet, to be able to enjoy rivers and convert it in a green planet.
This blog is a diary of how are we trying to do the same here, in a location where water & energy supply is not guaranteed, cause a climatology change in specific land location.
Climate of the Sietch and Resources of the Sietch are a detailed description of our ideas, and in our blog we will be updating with our activities towards the target.
